Open Day-Supported Internships in Medway

Calling the young people of Medway!! Are you bored of school or college? Do you want to work but need some help? Supported Internships are for people aged 16-24 with a learning disability or autism. We set up a work placement with the aim of achieving paid work at the end! Starting in September 2017, referrals being taken now. 8 places available.

 

What the day will look like?

A short presentation from the Project Lead explaining Supported Internships. A chance to talk to our tutor and job coaches as well as a young person currently on the programme. Literature and application forms will be handed out to those interested.

 

Who should attend?

Anyone interested in doing the course as well as potential referrers such as families, schools, colleges, charities and health care professionals to name a few.

 

What’s the eligibility?

Age 16-24, live in Medway, have a learning disability or autism (EHCP in place), strong desire to work!
