In today’s functional skills lesson, the Swale students put their creative skills to the test and made Christmas decorations for The Pulse. The learning outcomes for the day were for the students to be able to demonstrate good team working, time management and budget management skills.
There were two teams of three and each team was allocated £5 to buy materials for their Christmas decoration tasks and were given a timescale to complete this shopping task. They all succeeding in this aspect of the task, but it was time to demonstrate their creativity and team working skills in the practical task.
How did they do? Well……… here’s how!
All the students really enjoyed the lesson. Stephanie Hunt said, ‘I love Monday’s lessons, they are always so much fun!’’
They demonstrated fantastic creative skills and the Pulse is definitely benefiting from this! A reindeer, Christmas tree, festive house, candy canes, snowflakes, presents and crackers! We are all definitely feeling the Christmas Spirit here in Swale!
